Current events have heightened issues of systemic racism and racial disparities to the forefront of our national conversation. This long-overdue reckoning with America’s racist past and present has challenged us to consider how we must advance anti-racist policies and practices – whether we are new to this work or have been in the struggle for years. Please join us for a webinar on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 3:00-4:00 pm EDT, to learn about the anti-racist intersectional frame developed by the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP), and to explore its application to CSSP’s Strengthening Families work and other projects related to young children and their families. We will also discuss opportunities to apply the frame within your own Strengthening Families work in your programs, communities, and systems.
We will also hear from CSSP and the Children's Trust Fund Alliance about new resources and opportunities.
Our networking webinars are held the second Thursday of every month. Calls are 60 minutes in length and begin at 9 AM (HI) / 11 AM (AK) / 12 Noon (PDT) / 1 PM (MDT) / 2 PM (CDT) / 3 PM (EDT). For our colleagues in Guam, this is 5 AM Friday.
